Ourselves, everyone and everything around us is connected. When anything dies, parts of it become parts of something else - animals, trees, plants. The carbon cycle is reincarnation.

To me this seems like a beautiful idea although the thought of death is terrifying. I've tried to convey this paradox by attempting to make images of death that are dynamic instead of still, and vibrant rather than dull and sorrowful.
